With our interactive tours King John's Castle is not to be missed.Just a 20 minute drive from Shannon International Airport located at the gateway to the Wild Atlantic Way. King John's Castle, situated on 'King's Island' in the heard of medieval Limerick City, overlooks the majestic river Shannon and was built between 1200 and 1210.
The courtyard and the Castle display some of the trades and traditions of the 16th Century and visitors can enjoy panaoramic views of Limerick City and the surounding countryside.
